
If you would like to know more about bees and or get up close and personal with a working apiary (bee farm), we have some choices for you.
1. $200.00 + tax + mileage if farther than 50km. An introduction to Honey Bees, talk and powerpoint (with videos) presentation, and show and tell, for your group/classroom. Approximately 1-2 hours, available any time of year.
2. $200.00-$250.00 + tax + mileage if farther than 50km: Book an observation frame (without queen $200.00 or with $250.00) for your event *June - July only. We bring a frame of bees in a fully enclosed glass-sided observation unit. You will have the hive available for up to 3-5 hours. Temperatures must not bee too cold, nor too hot, and it cannot be placed in the sun. This is not always available, please check at least one - two months in advance if you are interested in this option.
3. $100.00 + tax/person: Api-tourism Meet the Bees. Join us for a 1-2 hour visit to the apiary, in full gear, seeing and handling the frames of bees, add (optional - $10.00) photos of your experience and (optional - no charge) tea, and English muffins with our honey.
4. (Currently Bee-ing Prepared - hoping to add this option by 2028) $150.00 + tax / night. API-Tourism Stay-over. For more than 1 person: add $40/person/night. Add Breakfast: $5-$25/person/day: Book a stay at the apiary in our beautiful 1 bedroom 2-story log home. This adventure will be available any time of year, but from October to May the bees will not be available to view, as they will be wrapped for winter.
