Yes you can use a spoon but a Honey Dipper is THE "proper" way to serve liquid honey. Our Bee Local Honey dippers are handcrafted for us by a local Regina wood turner, Gerry Craswell of CrazMade. Gerry uses a variety of woods, including chokecherry trees from our yard - check those out. Because all of the dippers are hand made, no two are exactly alike. Gerry makes them in different styles, the one you get will most likely differ from the ones in the pictures, but will be similar.
