"Groot" is the Dutch word for "large". It is also the name of the fictional extraterrestrial, tree-like character that first appeared in Marvel's comic book, "Tales to Astonish" #13 in 1960 as a creature who wanted to capture humans for experimentation. Our soap reminds us of the more recent heroic and noble being, "Groot", who was reintroduced in the 2006 crossover comic " Annihilation: Conquest" and it's spin-off movie, "Guardians of the Galaxy", because it is our largest-sized bar, it is rustic, and it is scented with a manly, yet soft, Cedar-Sandalwood (tree-like) essential oil blend; the soap even kinda looks like Groot.
